Space Foundation's Summer Institute courses nearly full
Each summer, the Space Foundation hosts its Summer Institute in Colorado Springs. Teachers from across the nation participate in intensive, graduate-level training in space science. Working with the U.S. Air Force Academy, Air Force Space Command and partner aerospace companies, the Space Foundation leads the teachers through five courses covering astronomy, space technology, Earth systems science, rocketry, and biology. The first course begins June 19, 2006, and each is one week long; three of the five classes are already at capacity. The coursework can be applied toward continuing education credit, graduate credit, or credit toward a master's degree offered jointly through the Space Foundation and partner universities. Teachers can register to attend the courses online or by calling the Space Foundation at 800-691-4000.

The scholarship covers tuition, fees, travel, and lodging for Luka to come to travel to Colorado Springs to attend one courses at the Summer Institute.
